This group covers Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian and other Asian cuisines that are not Chinese, and the etiquette varies by kitchen. Japanese and Korean restaurants often take reservations for dinner and may add a service charge for large groups; Thai and Vietnamese spots are usually walk-in and quick-turnover. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Korean BBQ restaurants typically charge per person for all-you-can-eat service with a time limit, and grills are shared at the table. Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. First time here! I dont normally partake in Indian food, but i wanted to try something different! As someone unfamiliar with the cuisine, the staff explained all the popular dishes and sauces, which was so appreciated! The food I chose was delicious (I chose mild dishes because I am a wimp), and I would definitely come back again!

Delicious food and great ambiance! The pav bhaji was outstanding, and we were pleasantly surprised to find misal on the menuβ€”it was authentic and delicious. The dhansak was unique and very flavorful. The food was fresh, high-quality, and well-prepared. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to both Americans who want to try Indian cuisine and Indians looking for authentic, tasty food. We had a wonderful dining experience and will be back!

Alright, it’s time I share how I really feel about The Jewel. I’ve been holding back because I really wanted this place to survive, but after this last meal, that is no longer the case. I literally just had the worst Indian food of my life. Not only was the spice level medium when I ordered EXTRA MILD, the naan was hard and the paneer makhni was floating in ghee. Truly inedible. I thought with him switching locations that the quality might improve, but it was the opposite. Terrible quality and taste. I was a loyal customer for many years, but I will never come back.

Had a really great experience at this Indian restaurant! The food was honestly amazing. We tried the garlic naan, chicken tikka, and the lamb korma (chef’s special), and every dish was full of flavor and cooked perfectly. I don’t usually go for spicy or heavily flavored food, but everything was so well-balanced and delicious that I really enjoyed it. Nothing felt overwhelming, just rich and flavorful in a good way.Overall, such a nice dining experience. I’ll definitely be coming back!
